About me

Being a native New Orleanian residing in Covington, Louisiana for the past 30+ years, art continues to be a large part of my cultural surroundings and I find motivation through the works of others and inspiration in everyone around me.

I have always favored black and white drawing and photography and that passion transfers to my portfolio.  Though I have been commissioned to draw many subjects, from structures to animals,  I have an appreciation for diverse cultures and gravitate toward the human figure and their emotions. I love to learn about the people I draw and their moment of emotion that I am illustrating.

Whether it's capturing a likeness or finding the emotion of expression, my wish is to allow the viewer to be in the moment with the subject.  

Laughter, love, heartache, determination, excitement, courage, bewilderment, amazement; no matter the moment, human expression is undeniable.  As I traverse my artistic journey through life, I will continue to explore what moves us all and bring those emotions to life on paper.
